Our Journey
Eric and Karen Loaiza-Wulff founded Wash Authority after Eric — working as an engineer out of town — was missing crucial family moments.
Karen suggested starting a window cleaning business after friends mentioned the opportunity. Eric initially resisted, but eventually tried his first window cleaning job. It took him over 17 hours to complete.
Eric kept his engineering role for a while, but took on cleaning and power washing work evenings and weekends. Karen handled sales. Eric managed operations. It grew.
The day after Eric left engineering full-time, the phone rang. It was a restaurant needing window cleaning services. They viewed the call as confirmation of the path they were on.
From those first 17 hours scrubbing windows to a full crew serving Jefferson City and the Lake of the Ozarks — Wash Authority has grown on one principle: show up, do the work right, and keep your word.
